Abstract:

We model, fabricate and characterize hybrid silicon carbide-nanodiamond microdisk resonators on a silicon wafer. Diamond’s silicon-vacancy emission couples to the whispering gallery resonances for a potential Purcell enhancement up to the modeled F = 75.
