(650) 926-3026

I am currently a senior staff scientist at Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource and the leader of the soft X-ray staff scientist group in the Material Science Division. My research goal is to utilize synchrotron related techniques to investigate the strongly correlated electron systems.

BS, Solid State Physics from Nanjing University

PhD, Condensed Matter Physics, 1997

Research Interests

My research interests are mainly focused on ARPES studies of strongly correlated electron systems, in particular the high temperature superconductors. I am also interested in developing the synchrotron-based instrumentations and building the state-of-the-art high-resolution ARPES system.
